This large mahogany plate is turned on the lathe, distressed and then painted with milk paint for contrast. It was hand rubbed to give it the "aged" look. The front and sides are carved, the rear is scalloped and textured. It is designed to be displayed on edge or hung on a wall as an interior decorating piece. The plate is approximately 12 inches square and 1 inch deep.
